Dannette has served as Principal for Kay Davis Associates for sixteen(16) years where she oversees her company’s day to day operations which include the management of her staff.


KDA is a full Service Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment Consultant/General Purchasing Firm specializing in Space planning , FFE Specification and Provision as well as Logistics planning/Management. She has over thirty (30) years experience in the construction industry specializing in facility planning, space planning and project management.


Currently, Kay Davis Associates is working on several projects with clients of long standing relationshipsDannette at Marriott for Website2 and new Partners reflected on the Project list. Davis founded this Company in 2000 offering FFE Planning, Sales and Service in a turnkey format. It makes the Professional Servicer responsible for the final budget and allows early thinking as a Project is in development to final completion.

The firm’s resume includes handles heavy Educational K-12, Higher Education and Public Work over the 15 years. Much of our work now include hospitality and Health Care facilities since these Clients, like Education Professionals, seek common ground in quality and expectation for comfort and performance in product.



Prior to Kay Davis, Dannette spent much of her career employed with Texas Southern University’s Design and Construction Department, steadily advancing over an 18 year period from Project Manager, Assistant Director for Construction Administration to Director for Facilities Support Services, where she managed a myriad of projects, including Higher Education Master Plans, New Construction and Renovations of all kinds. She handled FFE specifications and purchase, as well as management of Logistics as a part of her Project Management duties. Education includes a Bachelors in Telecommunications from TSU and Post Graduates Work in Construction Management from University of Houston.


KDA understands the importance of listening to the Client, and/or following the Architects lead for programming and conceptual finishes and how it makes for great interior design and furnishing successes. Early space planning, budget forecasting and Project Management are key to the successful project. Furniture and Logistics bring closure to each project and should leave each client feeling excited about his new space.
